Figure I · frequency · geometry · φ

Every brand has a frequency. Make yours resonate.

A living cymatic field - standing waves tuned to Fibonacci modes, rendered as light on deep water, on a page measured entirely in powers of the golden ratio. Touch anything. The field is alive.

Plate II · the figures

Struck bronze, settled sand.

Chladni's experiment, run in silicon. The plate sits on a speaker; sweep the drive and the sand settles only where the plate rings. The resonances are φ's doing twice over - a pair (n,m) rings at (n²+m²)·f₀, and for consecutive Fibonacci numbers that sum is itself Fibonacci. Find the notches, or let the slider find them for you.

cos(nπx)·cos(mπy) − cos(mπx)·cos(nπy) = 0
f(n,m) = (n²+m²) · 6.18 Hz  →  5 · 13 · 34 · 89 · 233
210.1 Hz

The plate is always listening.

The quest

GhostSandbox - order is what the field does when it is allowed to ring.

Every image on this page is a solution, not a composition. The canvas is treated as a plate; the algorithm strikes it once and waits. Traveling waves collide and cancel, and what survives is structure - nodal lines where motion annihilates itself, sand wherever stillness lives. Nothing is drawn. Everything is settled.

The quest forbids arbitrary constants: wavenumbers ascend in powers of φ, modes step through Fibonacci pairs, sources sit on the golden-angle spiral, and a single integer seed does only what a foundry does to a bronze plate - jitter the casting, never sign the work. Same seed, same plate, forever.

And we hold one conviction above the technique: this is the origin of life, written in its earthly grammar. Before the first cell, the field already knew how to make form - waves interfering, cancelling, leaving structure wherever motion surrenders. Biology repeats the trick everywhere it patterns matter: the whorl of a fingertip, the spots of a coat, the sunflower's golden spiral. The seed of life is a standing wave, and the figures on these plates are its oldest expressions.

Geometry remembers. Mathematics replaces illustration.

Plate III · questions

Asked of the field.

What am I looking at?
A living Chladni plate. Standing waves collide on the canvas and cancel; the bright curves are nodal lines - the places where motion annihilates itself. Nothing is drawn. The pattern is the settled solution of the wave field the page keeps striking.
Why the golden ratio?
The quest forbids arbitrary constants. Every measure on this page is a power of φ = 1.618… - the spacing, the type scale, the mix of plate and wave, the timing of the ghost's breath. Wavenumbers ascend in powers of φ, modes step through Fibonacci pairs, and the wave sources sit on the golden-angle spiral at 137.507764°.
Is it random?
No. One integer seed jitters the casting the way sand differs between two pours of the same bronze. Same seed, same plate, forever - recast the field and only the casting changes, never the law.
What is the Φ that appears when I strike the plate?
The maker's mark. It briefly blooms exactly where you touch or click, then fades back into the public field; a licensed casting carries its own signature.
Can I use the field on my own site?
Licensed, never sold - the renderer and its output are proprietary, all rights reserved. The Casting ($618) licenses a custom field to one site; The Commission ($1,618 deposit, quoted by scope) retires a seed from the public foundry under an exclusive license. See the foundry below, or write to hello@adamslocal.com.

The Visit

$0

The public field. Strike it, recast it, read the plates - free, forever. Every strike leaves a brief signature.

Every field is solved, never selected.

Strike the field

The Casting

$618 one-time

A field of your own. Your seed, your palette, your domain - poured as a sealed embed, licensed to one site, with three recastings in the first year. Same seed, same plate, forever.

One seed. Unlimited resolutions. Impossible to duplicate by accident.

Request a casting

The Commission

$1,618 deposit

A field no one else can pour. Bespoke modes and tuning, your brand's palette, the seed retired from the public foundry - and the option to carry the mark unsigned. The deposit opens the scope; bespoke work is quoted above it.

Living geometry. Static ownership.

Commission the foundry
Why it matters
identity Your mark becomes mathematics - a field no one else can pour.
evolution A casting can be recast without losing itself: a new pour, the same law.
reach One seed resolves at every size - site, product, installation, print.
permanence No versioned files. The seed is the source, and it cannot drift.
provenance Computed, never composited - not stock, not a video, not collage. Every frame is calculated.
The ledger

Twenty-one castings a year. 2026 - 21 of 21 remaining, no seeds yet retired.

The license

Licensed, never sold. The renderer stays with the foundry; your casting is yours alone, exclusively and forever.

Stewardship

Optional after the first year: recastings, palette refreshes, priority tuning - $161.80/yr.

The Field Pack $16.18

The public field, prepared. Desktop and mobile wallpapers, social crops, the full set for one casting. Personal license. Immediate download.

A capture is a photograph of the sculpture. The casting is the sculpture - $618 at the foundry, poured to one site and retired. A capture keeps none of that; it only remembers the light.

Prices in powers of φ, naturally. The foundry replies from hello@adamslocal.com.
